A sheet of paper titled Fall Bucket List on a white background with scissors, 2 rolls of washi tape, a copper Sharpie, pencil, and eraser.

I absolutely adore Fall. It’s my favorite season. I always get a large surge of energy that propels me through the final months of the year. Heartier meals, baked goods with cinnamon, cooler weather. I love it.

In the Bay Area we usually spend half the season waiting for true Fall weather to arrive. The nights get cooler but it’s often very warm, even hot, during the day. So far this year, though, the weather has been gorgeous. Mid to low 70s and breezy during the day. It really feels like Fall has arrived.

With all my enthusiasm it’s easy to forget about some of the things that I want to do. So, this year I’m making a list. A Fall Bucket List. And, inspired by A Beautiful Mess I decided to create something a little more special than a plain list in one of my notebooks. Something I can put up and look at regularly.

My wishes for fall include a lot of food items and outings with a few crafts thrown in. San Francisco is gorgeous this time of year so I'll be making several trips up there. What’s not on the list is all the time I plan to spend snuggled up on my couch with a bunch of pillows, a blanket, and a book, because as far as I’m concerned that goes without saying.

What are your wishes for the season?
